Wearing glasses after rhinoplasty is not recommended during the first few months. This is because pressure from the glasses may negatively affect the healing of the nasal bones. It is generally appropriate to use contact lenses instead of glasses for 2-3 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wearing glasses before the nasal bone fusion process is complete may lead to deformities. Therefore, glasses should not be worn without the physician’s approval. Even lightweight frames carry a risk of pressure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Patients who need glasses may be offered temporary solutions such as special nasal supports or lightweight tapes after surgery. This method reduces pressure on the nasal bones and enables safer use.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the long term, glasses may be worn again once the nose has fully healed. However, since the required period may differ for each patient, the decision should be made under physician supervision. In this way, both aesthetic and functional results are preserved.<\/span><\/p>\n
