Hooked nose rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to reshape a nose with a prominent curved or downward-profile appearance. A hooked nose is typically characterized by a convex bridge, a drooping nasal tip, or a combination of both features. In some patients, the nose may also appear longer or more projected than desired. The purpose of rhinoplasty is to improve overall nasal balance while preserving a natural appearance that fits the patient’s facial structure.
Hooked nose rhinoplasty before and after photos can help illustrate the types of changes that may be achieved with surgery. In preoperative images, common concerns may include a noticeable dorsal hump, downward tip rotation, excessive nasal length, or a profile that appears dominant compared with the forehead, lips, and chin. In most patients, the nose refines over several months, and full healing may take up to a year or longer.
